Hello Dieter, thanks for your comment in the plumbingandheatingforum. As an eager reader there, I found your comment http://www.plumbingandheatingforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2301. And now I definitely know, what not to do. I was so close to have my engine reconditioned, but to be sure, I googled "engineengineering" and thus found your comment above and your report. Thanks for saving money and time. PS: hope that you will get back your engine soon and that they pay you some refund!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Dieter, it is really incredible and hard to believe. So you bought an engine and instead they repaired yours without letting you know or asking for your consent? And they refuse to pay any kind of conpensation for your expenses? Companies such as this should be blacklisted somehow. How good that guys like you take the efford to publish such things to warn the internet-community. Thank you, Mark

Hello Mark, You are right, it is quite an efford, but I think it's worth while, to prevent others from having the same experiences. I also hope that engineengineering will reconsider their disatrous information-politics. Dieter

Oh boy, I was very close to get into contact with engineengineering. I was looking for a reconditioned engine for my BMW 520i. On their website I found that they have the engine I need. But after the experience that you describe I think it is better and less time-consuming to rely on "First choice" and their carefully selected dealers. "Don't give companies as engineengineering a chance to rib off their customers". Hoping that they have at least compensated you for the trouble you had, best, Bill

Hello Dieter, Thank you for this report. I had considered buying an engine for my Audi Q7 from this company, and after "googling" around I found your Site. What you experienced is not really encouraging, so I decided to buy somewhere else. Thank You Frank
